And so it goes...We went to a party at MWPI, a Black and White night.  I loved the concept. Everyone was dressed in black and white to emphasize the Ansel Adams exhibit currently at the Munstitute.  A great concept but a bit staid for me.  I am a natural girl. I just want to have fun.  Off to The Black Cat early to get our palms read. A much better place to be.  Met up with a couple of old friends and drank lots of wine.  A good night in old Utica, NY.  Let's hear it for Ansel Adams.

I am so tired I could just scream, but, I'm too tired to scream.  It was the best day today.  Who knew how good it would be. Just when you think life if getting boring, you push thru it and look what happens.  I am teaching a class at SUNY IT in Utica, NY. I was a bit concerned that I would not enjoy this endeavor, but, decided it would push me to a different level with my own photography. It is a class of people who have a real passion for photography.  I am amazed and astounded at the caliber of ability and work that I have seen from them today.  I am sure it will only get better.  I am inspired by them and I can't wait to see what they are capable of doing next.  They make me want to photograph more each day.  Our show, presentation at the end of the semester will be stellar.  I can't wait to see what materializes.

Weekend in Central NY

The images are samples of what can be really fun in dull, old Utica, NY.  The  images are from the Zombie walk for Stevens Swan Humane Society and the flash mob promo for  Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Stanley Oct. 15.  It was a great time.  Anyone who says our city is boring is boring themselves.  Special thanks to the bridal couple who let me shoot tons of pics.
